HOLMES COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – A man is facing felony animal abuse charges after a video was posted on social media in Holmes County.

Breezy News reported the video showed a dog being kicked to death. Investigators were able to identify the person in the video as Drone Da-Quan Brown.

He initially faced a misdemeanor charge, but the charge was upgraded to a felony following public outcry.
