BRANDON, Miss. (WJTV) – Brandon police announced a man was arrested in connection to a fatal shooting at a block party.
Brandon Police Chief Joseph French said Ryan Mosley, 31, was arrested in connection to the June 21 shooting death of Roshad Collier, 29, on Mary Myles Drive.
Mosley was charged with first-degree murder and felon in possession of a firearm. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Rankin County Jail, where his bond has been set at $1 million, pending a hearing in Brandon Municipal Court.

According to police, two male victims were shot during the block party. They were both transported by a private vehicle to Merit Health Rankin for treatment of gunshot wounds. One of the victims, Collier, later died from his injuries. French said the second victim treated for gunshot wounds was Mosley, who was arrested upon his release from medical care.
