JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police are investigating after a man was shot and killed at a hotel on Saturday, April 8.

Officer Sam Brown said the incident happened earlier in the day at the Relax Inn on Highway 80. A man was shot and died from his injuries.

He said investigators are still gathering evidence on potential suspects and motives.
