JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson firefighters responded to a fire at a popular restaurant and bar.

The fire happened at Johnny T’s Bistro & Blues on Farish Street on Monday, July 3.

When WJTV 12 News arrived at the scene, smoke could be seen coming from the building. Fire officials said the fire started in the kitchen and spread to a wall.

According to investigators, the fire was caused by grease.
