RIDGELAND, Miss. (WJTV) – Multiple police officers responded to a shooting on I-55 S. near the Natchez Trace in Ridgeland on Thursday.
Lt. Brian Myers with Ridgeland police said several shots were fired from one vehicle to another. A 30-year-old man from Canton was shot in the arm. He was taken to the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) in Jackson for surgery.
Police are working to gather evidence and video from local businesses in the area to determine a suspect vehicle or description.
