JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – A Jackson police officer was injured during a crash overnight.
Police Chief James Davis said the officer hit something on I-220 around midnight and ran off the road. The officer was taken to the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) with minor injuries.
The officer has been released from the hospital.
