HINDS COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – Hinds County neighbors voted in favor of Tyree Jones to be the next Hinds County sheriff on Tuesday, November 23.
The unofficial results of the runoff election showed Jones defeating interim Hinds County Sheriff Marshand Crisler. Jones currently serves as a captain for the Hinds County Sheriff’s Office.
