SIMPSON COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – A pedestrian died after being hit by a vehicle in Magee.
Simpson County Coroner Terry Tutor said John Loftin, 68, tried to cross Highway 49 when he was hit by a vehicle. The incident happened around 5:45 p.m. on Thursday, December 30.
Loftin died at the scene.
