PEARL, Miss. (WJTV) – Leaders with the Mississippi Emergency Management Agency (MEMA) announced Spring Severe Weather Preparedness Week will take place February 14-19, 2022.
Officials will focus on different storm-related topics throughout the week.
- Monday – Severe Thunderstorms
- Tuesday – Flooding
- Wednesday – Tornadoes (Statewide Tornado Drill at 9:15 a.m.)
- Thursday- Lightning
- Friday – Warning Reception
- Saturday – Mobile Home Safety
