UPDATE:
JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – A spokesperson for the Jackson Municipal Airport Authority (JMAA) said International Drive reopened just before 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
They said the City of Jackson Bomb Squad and a FBI Special Agent Bomb Tech were on location and cleared the threat.
JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – A spokesperson for the Jackson Municipal Airport Authority (JMAA) said JMAA temporarily closed International Drive due to a possible security threat near the Jackson Airport.
They said additional police are at the location. So far, there is no threat to the airport terminal or aircraft operations.
