CLINTON, Miss. (WJTV) – A man was shot at a Super 8 Hotel in Clinton on Sunday, March 27.
Clinton Police Department Public Information Officer Amanda Jones said the victim was shot after an argument broke out between him and two other people around 3:00 p.m.
Police were able to identify the two suspects from surveillance video as Shakayla Washington and Jarmarcus Williams.
Washington has been charged with accessory after the fact and Williams is charged with aggravated assault. The victim was taken to the hospital but will be released soon.
The victim is in stable condition.
