- Canton Public School District – Classes will switch to virtual learning
- Central Hinds Academy – Early release
- 11:15 a.m. – Elementary, Central Hinds Academy

- Clinton Public School District – Early release
- 11:00 a.m. – Clinton Park, Northside, Eastside
- 11:45 a.m. – Lovett, Clinton Junior High School

- Copiah County School District – Classes will dismiss at 12:00 p.m.
- East Central Community College – Classes will switch to virtual learning
- Hinds Community College – Campuses will dismiss in-person classes beginning at 11 a.m. All afternoon and evening classes will be virtual beginning at 11 a.m.
