JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – The National Weather Service (NWS) reported the Pearl River at Jackson will reach a minor flood stage on Monday, April 18.
The average height is expected to be 28 feet. The forecast crest is 30 feet by the end of the week.
The City of Jackson has received nearly six inches of rainfall since the beginning of April, more than two inches above normal.
