JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police said a man was shot multiple times at an apartment complex early Tuesday morning.

Officer Sam Brown said the shooting happened at Wood Village Apartments.

He said the victim, who has not been identified, was rushed into surgery at a local hospital. There’s no word on the victim’s condition.

Brown said police are working to identify the suspect.
