JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – A Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP) patrol car was involved in a two-vehicle crash on Thursday, March 2 in Jackson.

The crash happened on Raymond Road at Robinson Road near the Shakti Food Mart.

According to investigators, the trooper’s vehicle was traveling south on Robinson Road when it collided with a 2019 Nissan Versa that was traveling east on Raymond Road.

Both drivers were transported to the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) with injuries.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
