JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – An 18-wheeler that was carrying chickens crashed in Jackson on Wednesday, May 24.

The accident happened on Interstate 20 before the Ellis Avenue exit. The crash caused traffic to back up on the interstate.

There’s no word on any injuries as of Wednesday morning. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
