MADISON COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – A woman is in critical condition after being hit by a golf cart that was driven by a juvenile, according to Madison County deputies.

The Madison County Journal reported the incident happened Wednesday morning on Grayhawk Drive and Wingspan Way.

The woman, who has not been identified, was airlifted to a location hospital for treatment.

Madison County authorities have not released any additional information.
