Jackson City Council votes Aaron Banks as new president

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – On Monday, July 3, the Jackson City Council voted on new leadership.

Councilman Aaron Banks, Ward 6, was named the next City Council president. Councilwoman Angelique Lee, Ward 2, was named the City Council vice president.

Councilman Ashby Foote, Ward 1, previously served as the City Council president.
