RIDGELAND, Miss. (WJTV) – At least one person was injured during a shooting at Northpark Mall in Ridgeland.

The shooting happened on Saturday, August 12, 2023, in the food court area, according to Ridgeland Police Chief Brian Myers.

The chief said one person was injured during the incident, but the victim is expected to fully recover.

According to Myers, the people involved in the shooting were from the Yazoo City area. There’s no word on any suspects at this time.
