YAZOO CITY, Miss. (WJTV) – A new police chief has been named for Yazoo City.

According to officials, Terry Gann was appointed as the police chief during a board meeting in late September 2023.

Officials said Gann plans to move the department forward in its efforts to clean up the streets in the city.
