JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police are investigating after a pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle.

Officer Sam Brown said the incident happened Tuesday evening on Terry Road near Stokes Robinson Road. He said the unidentified pedestrian died at the scene.

Police did not provide any additional information.
