JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police are investigating after a body was found Thursday afternoon.

Officers responded to a call about a shooting in the 1200 block of West Ridgeway Street just before 3:30 p.m. on December 28.

Police said the victim, Willie Ford, Jr., had been shot multiple times and died at the scene. They are still searching for the suspect.
