JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – JXN Water officials announced the boil water notices for parts of south and west Jackson have been lifted.
On Wednesday, operations leadership reported the system was operating with flows matching the summer peak and water demand was manageable.
The now-lifted boil water notices affected 12,000 customers in the zip codes 39209, 39204, 39212, 39272, and 39170.
“We appreciate everyone’s patience as our staff worked around the clock to sample and address issues in the system,” said Ted Henifin, Interim Third Party Manager. “Please call us if you are experiencing a water pressure issue so we can understand what is happening on your side of the water line.”
Officials said crews made more than 114 repairs during the winter operation period.
