FLOWOOD, Miss. (WJTV) – Flowood police said they’re working a major crash involving multiple vehicles on Lakeland Drive.

The crash happened on Wednesday, January 24 on Lakeland Drive eastbound at Cooper Road. Police said all eastbound lanes are blocked.

Police said five vehicles were involved in the crash. At least three people were taken to the hospital. One woman was cut out from a vehicle by Flowood firefighters.

Drivers are encouraged to use a different route.
