ADAMS COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – Adams County deputies worked with Vidalia police to arrest two suspects in a joint investigation.

Investigators said the case led to the seizure of two stolen vehicles, more than 270 grams of cocaine, more than a pound and half of marijuana, and $5,348 in currency.

Adams County Sheriff Travis Patten said the investigation began after Vidalia police arrested Sanchez Gray, of Natchez, for possession of a stolen vehicle during a traffic stop on January 17.

Deputies executed a search warrant at Gray’s home on Park Place in Natchez and seized a small amount of marijuana and the currency.

During the investigation, agents executed a search warrant on a 2017 Corvette Z06 that was parked in a field on Old Meadville Road. Patten said agents were able to confirm the Corvette was stolen from Grapevine, Texas. They also recovered cocaine, marijuana and paperwork from inside the vehicle.

On January 26, agents arrested of Jersha Brown, of Natchez, and Gray for aggravated trafficking of a controlled substance to wit cocaine, possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, possession of a stolen vehicle, and tampering with evidence.

Patten said investigators are still searching for Dionntae Dishta, of Ferriday, Louisiana, in connection to the case. He said Dishta is currently on parole in Louisiana.
