LAWRENCE COUNTY, Miss (WJTV) – Three men were saved after their boat capsized in Lawrence County.

Officials with the Lawrence County Fire Service said they responded to the incident just before 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, January 28. They received a call that the men were in the Pearl River near the paper mill.

The men were found clinging to a log jam and trees in the swift water.

Emergency crews were able to save the men from the river.
