JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – A section of Pearl Street in downtown Jackson will be closed the next several days as crews with JXN Water work to repair a failed sewer line.

Officials said the block of E. Pearl Street between President and S. Congress streets will be closed to traffic.

Drivers are asked to use Capitol Street to detour around the closed block.
