Central Mississippi:

Krewe de Cardinal – Jackson – Friday

  • Krewe de Cardinal is Saint Richard Catholic School’s largest fundraiser of the year!

Fleet Feet Coffee Run – Ridgeland – Friday

  • The group usually makes a large loop around the area. After the run, the first round of coffee is free on Fleet Feet!

The Four Immortal Chaplains Program – Jackson – Friday

  • This program is organized by the Mississippi National Guard commemorating four Mississippi chaplains who died on the S.S. Dorchester during WWII.

Dixie National Livestock Show and Rodeo – Jackson – Friday, Saturday & Sunday

  • The 59th annual Dixie National Livestock Show and Rodeo will take place on the Mississippi State Fairgrounds.

Clue: On Stage! – Natchez – Friday, Saturday & Sunday

  • Natchez Little Theatre presents ‘Clue – On Stage.’ Don’t miss out on this iconic whodunit at Mississippi’s Oldest Community Theatre.

Attack of the Bloodsuckers – Jackson – Friday, Saturday & Sunday

  • Through 13 icky exhibits, guests learn the what, why, who, and when of how parasites live, work, and play an important part in our ecosystems.

Picasso Landscapes: Out of Bounds – Jackson – Friday, Saturday & Sunday

  • The first museum exhibition to showcase Pablo Picasso’s landscapes and the first ever Picasso solo exhibition to visit Mississippi.

Black History Month Art Exhibit – Natchez – Friday, Saturday & Sunday

  • New Vision Media will hold a month-long exhibit featuring the works of African Americans in the lobby at 20 East Franklin Street.

The Enslaved Journey – Natchez – Friday, Saturday & Sunday

  • Rev. Tracy Collins will provide cultural heritage tours that will focus on the history of slavery and periods up to the Civil Rights Movement in Natchez.

Legacy of the Rhythm Night Club – Natchez – Friday, Saturday & Sunday

  • Tours will be given at the Rhythm Night Club Memorial Museum that highlight the lives and legacy of African Americans.

Moonlit Masquerade – Pearl – Saturday

  • Celebrate Mardi Gras in Pearl with music, food and a silent auction benefiting Children’s of Mississippi.

Jester’s Ball – Vicksburg – Saturday

  • Guests will be treated to an evening of music, delicious food and fun! Lots of throws and prizes will be included as well.

Mardi Gras Parade Day – Lawrence County – Saturday

  • The Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce will celebrate with a day of festivities, including a Gumbo Cook Off, Children’s Bike Parade, and Parade.

The Dance of The Princess and the Frog – Jackson – Saturday

  • The dance is presented by The City of Jackson Parks and Recreation Department Champion Dance Center and Montage Theatre of Dance.

Hezekiah Watkins’ Gallery Talk – Jackson – Saturday

  • Museum staff member Hezekiah Watkins will tell his story of being arrested at age thirteen as the youngest Freedom Rider in Jackson, Mississippi.

African American Genealogy Workshop – Jackson – Saturday

  • This workshop will introduce a wide variety of sources for genealogical research.

Mississippi Farmers Market – Jackson – Saturday

  • From persimmons to peaches, from bok choy to butter beans, the Mississippi Farmers Market is the one place to go for the freshest fruits and vegetables that are grown in the state.

Natchez Farmers Market – Natchez – Saturday

  • Every week there will be live fresh produce, baked goods, fresh dairy, and arts and crafts all from local growers and artists.

WellsFest CARES Concert Series – Jackson – Sunday

  • The Steve Chester Tribute will feature some of Mississippi’s most talented musicians.

Mardi Paws Parade – Natchez – Sunday

  • Grab your furry friends for the Second Annual Mardi Paws Parade! There will be a costume contest.

Magnolia Festival Junior Cotillion – Natchez – Sunday

  • Junior Cotillion gives middle school boys and girls training and practice in social skills that will build connections, social confidence and self-assurance.

Pine Belt:

Krewe of Saint Catherine Parade – Hattiesburg – Friday

  • The 2nd annual St. Catherine Parade and Block Party is set for Friday in downtown Hattiesburg. It is a roll or stroll parade.

All-South Honor Band Prism Concert – Hattiesburg – Friday

  • The event will be held at Southern Miss for the 2024 All-South Honor Band.

Taylor Swift Night – Hattiesburg – Friday

  • Listen to Taylor Swift’s greatest hits and meet the cats of the Cattiesburg Café.

Storytime with a Soldier – Hattiesburg – Friday

  • Storytime is a great experience for kids in pre-K through 2nd grade. They will interact with a uniformed military veteran who will read an art themed book.

New Exhibit at Hattiesburg Pocket Museum – Hattiesburg – Friday, Saturday & Sunday

  • The Hattiesburg Pocket Museum has a new exhibit every month, so be sure to head downtown for a small surprise!

Forrest County Farmers Market – Hattiesburg – Saturday

  • You’ll be able to find Fresh fruit and vegetables, jellies, baked goods, casseroles,
    soaps, flowers and more!

Krewe of Blue Mardi Gras Parade – Laurel – Saturday

  • The family-friendly parade will feature floats, vintage and specialty vehicles, and lots of beads and Mardi Gras memorabilia thrown from the floats and vehicles.

Mardi Gras Mambo Pub Crawl – Hattiesburg – Saturday

  • Attendees will get a free souvenir cup, a chance to win a $100 gift card, stroll with the Epic Funk Brass Band and access to the King Cake bar.

Open Mic Night at Lee’s – Laurel – Saturday

  • Local musicians, poets, etc. come and perform original material, as well as covers, for a laid-back, supportive audience.
