JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Two more teenagers have been charged with capital murder in connection to a homicide that occurred in Jackson on Sunday, February 4.
Police said 19-year-old Kentrevious Smith and 16-year-old Jaylen Woodard have been arrested in connection to the case. This comes after 15-year-old Christian Powell was arrested and charged with capital murder and aggravated assault.
The shooting happened in the 300 block of Red Oak Drive on Sunday. Banks said one of the victims, who was identified as Charles Brown, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
