TCHULA, Miss. (WJTV) – Tchula police arrested a man in connection to the death of his brother.

Tchula Police Chief Kenneth Hampton said officers received a call about the shooting just before 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 13 at a home on Middle Street.

According to Hampton, the victim, Demarcus Gray, was found deceased in a bedroom of the home. He said a bullet shell was found under Gray’s body.

Hampton said it appears Gray was shot in the head, but the police department is waiting for the official cause of death from the coroner.

The police chief said Gray’s unidentified brother was arrested in the case. He said the two were arguing before the shooting happened.
