Central Mississippi:

Fleet Feet Coffee Run – Ridgeland – Friday

Civil War and Old West Relic Show – Vicksburg – Friday and Saturday

  • Top dealers in military antiques will be in Vicksburg for the fourth year in a row.

Mississippi Ag & Outdoor Expo – Jackson – Friday, Saturday & Sunday

  • The Mississippi Ag and Outdoor Expo is the largest display of everything for the outdoors in Mississippi – and a special “Spring Edition” is coming to the Trade Mart the second weekend of the Dixie National Rodeo.

Dixie National Livestock Show and Rodeo – Jackson – Friday, Saturday & Sunday

  • The 59th annual Dixie National Livestock Show and Rodeo will take place on the Mississippi State Fairgrounds.

  • The first museum exhibition to showcase Pablo Picasso’s landscapes and the first ever Picasso solo exhibition to visit Mississippi.

Black History Month Art Exhibit – Natchez – Friday, Saturday & Sunday

  • New Vision Media will hold a month-long exhibit featuring the works of African Americans in the lobby at 20 East Franklin Street.

The Enslaved Journey – Natchez – Friday, Saturday & Sunday

  • Rev. Tracy Collins will provide cultural heritage tours that will focus on the history of slavery and periods up to the Civil Rights Movement in Natchez.

Legacy of the Rhythm Night Club – Natchez – Friday, Saturday & Sunday

  • Tours will be given at the Rhythm Night Club Memorial Museum that highlight the lives and legacy of African Americans.

MLK Night of Culture – Jackson – Saturday

  • This year’s theme honors the 60th anniversary of Freedom Summer. Artists will perform original pieces centered on freedom, voting rights, and education.

Galentine’s Empowerment Brunch – Ridgeland – Saturday

  • Grab your “gals” for an event you won’t soon forget. Music, games, prizes, vendors, fellowship, brunch and mimosas. There will be brief sessions on matters such as physical and mental health, finances, fitness, etc.

Hezekiah Watkins’ Gallery Talk – Jackson – Saturday

  • Museum staff member Hezekiah Watkins will tell his story of being arrested at age thirteen as the youngest Freedom Rider in Jackson, Mississippi.

Back Down Memory Lane – Natchez – Saturday

  • The public is invited to an exciting new program that celebrates the achievement of Black women.

Miss-Lou Black History Parade and Block Party – Natchez – Saturday

  • A community Block Party will be held in the MLK Triangle immediately following the parade.

Chili Cookoff – Canton – Saturday

  • Get ready to spice up the competition, this cookoff is your chance to claim the title of Chili Champion.

Mississippi Farmers Market – Jackson – Saturday

  • From persimmons to peaches, from bok choy to butter beans, the Mississippi Farmers Market is the one place to go for the freshest fruits and vegetables that are grown in the state.

Natchez Farmers Market – Natchez – Saturday

  • Every week there will be live fresh produce, baked goods, fresh dairy, and arts and crafts all from local growers and artists.

Drawdown on the River – Vicksburg – Sunday

  • The proceeds from the event directly benefit students at Vicksburg Catholic School.

Magnolia Festival Junior Cotillion – Natchez – Sunday

  • Junior Cotillion gives middle school boys and girls training and practice in social skills that will build connections, social confidence and self-assurance.

Pine Belt:

Storytime with a Soldier – Hattiesburg – Friday

  • Storytime is a great experience for kids in pre-K through 2nd grade. They will interact with a uniformed military veteran who will read an art themed book.

Music in the Galleries – Laurel – Friday

  • This performance will inform and entertain local patrons of the arts to experience the traditional African American Spiritual in a new way.

Girl Scout Cookie and Beer Pairing – Hattiesburg – Friday, Saturday & Sunday

  • Pick four of your favorite Girl Scout cookies, and pair it with a flight of delicious draft beer. Limited quantities are available.

New Exhibit at Hattiesburg Pocket Museum – Hattiesburg – Friday, Saturday & Sunday

  • The Hattiesburg Pocket Museum has a new exhibit every month, so be sure to head downtown for a small surprise!

Alkebulan Music Philosophy – Hattiesburg – Saturday

  • Alkebulan Music Philosophy is an inclusive, hands-on cultural and creative musical experience, which engages people in the positive spirit of African music through drums and dance.

Southern Miss Clarinet Day – Hattiesburg – Saturday

  • The Southern Miss Clarinet Day is an event for clarinetists of all ages and levels. There will be performances, master classes, discussions, and exhibits. 

Gulf Coast Mixed Martial Arts 20 – Hattiesburg – Saturday

  • The event will be held at the Lake Terrace Convention Center.

Molten Mohawk Niner – Hattiesburg – Saturday

  • The race will be held at Thomley’s Christmas Tree Farm.

14th Annual Chilli and Gumbo Cook Off – Hattiesburg – Saturday
