JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police arrested three suspects and are searching for at least three more after they responded to a location in South Jackson.
Multiple officers responded to Forest Hill Drive at Maddox Road on Wednesday, February 21. Some other roads in the area were blocked off.
Jackson Police Chief Joseph Wade said officers seized stolen guns at the location, and they also found two stolen vehicles.
Officials with the Jackson Public School District (JPS) said Forest Hill High School was placed on a temporary lockdown as a precautionary measure. They said law enforcement officials searched the area for suspects. The lockdown was lifted by JPS around 1:30 p.m.
