• On the heels of the successful “Postcards From Ireland,” Celtic Woman will carry on its legacy of uplifting performances packed with breath-taking harmonies and instrumental virtuosity.

Fleet Feet Coffee Run – Ridgeland – Friday

• The group usually makes a large loop around the area. After the run, the first round of coffee is free on Fleet Feet!

Natchez Garden Club’s Flower Show – Natchez – Friday

• The Natchez Garden Club’s Flower Show will be held at Magnolia Hall.

Natchez Literary and Cinema Celebration – Natchez – Friday and Saturday

• Using the theme “Rites, Rituals and Religion in the Deep South” this event will include scholarly presentations, lively conversations, and events which will examine such topics as death and burial sites, historical cemeteries and their influence on landscape architecture, mourning practices, church rituals, voodooism, and Antebellum Christmas traditions.

• The Brick Street Players is Clinton’s newly re-organized theater group, offering quality theatre to performers and audiences alike.

• The first museum exhibition to showcase Pablo Picasso’s landscapes and the first ever Picasso solo exhibition to visit Mississippi.

Black History Month Art Exhibit – Natchez – Friday, Saturday & Sunday

• New Vision Media will hold a month-long exhibit featuring the works of African Americans in the lobby at 20 East Franklin Street.

The Enslaved Journey – Natchez – Friday, Saturday & Sunday

• Rev. Tracy Collins will provide cultural heritage tours that will focus on the history of slavery and periods up to the Civil Rights Movement in Natchez.

Legacy of the Rhythm Night Club – Natchez – Friday, Saturday & Sunday

• Tours will be given at the Rhythm Night Club Memorial Museum that highlight the lives and legacy of African Americans.

Mississippi Gem, Mineral, Fossil and Jewelry Show – Jackson – Saturday and Sunday

• There will be more than 25 dealers of gems, fossils, minerals, jewelry, lapidary tools, beads, and more. Demonstrations of lapidary art including flint knapping, cabochon cutting and jewelry making.

The Secret Garden: Spring Version – Jackson – Saturday and Sunday

Hezekiah Watkins’ Gallery Talk – Jackson – Saturday

• Museum staff member Hezekiah Watkins will tell his story of being arrested at age thirteen as the youngest Freedom Rider in Jackson, Mississippi.

Black History Tour – Natchez – Saturday

• Take a ride on the Hop-On-Hop-Off Tour Bus down St. Catherine Street. Discover the many historical African American sites that you never knew existed.

Youth Rodeo – Vicksburg – Saturday

• The event will have mutton bustin, calf-riding, steer riding, goat ribbon pulling, goat tying, poles, barrels, flags, and breakaway roping.

Mississippi Farmers Market – Jackson – Saturday

• From persimmons to peaches, from bok choy to butter beans, the Mississippi Farmers Market is the one place to go for the freshest fruits and vegetables that are grown in the state.

• The event will be held at the Lauren Rogers Museum of Art. It will feature Eddie Smith, the Mississippi State University Extension (MSU-ES) County Coordinator/Extension Agent in Pearl River County.

New Exhibit at Hattiesburg Pocket Museum – Hattiesburg – Friday, Saturday & Sunday
