WATHALL COUNTY, Miss. (WHLT) – One person was killed during a crash in Walthall County.

The crash happened on Highway 98 just before 5:30 p.m. on Monday, February 26.

According to the Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP), a 2019 Honda Accord was traveling south on Dillon Hill Road when it collided with a 2007 Western Star Truck that was traveling east on Highway 98.

The driver of the Honda, 35-year-old Deyona James, of Tylertown, was killed during the crash.

This crash remains under investigation by MHP.
