VICKSBURG, Miss. (WJTV) – There will be temporary lane closures on Interstate 20 at the Mississippi River Bridge in Vicksburg.

Crews with the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LADOTD) will make repairs to the bridge.

According to officials, I-20 eastbound will be reduced to one lane on March 11-12, 2024. They said I-20 westbound will be reduced to one lane on March 13-14, 2024.

Drivers should also anticipate lane closures the following weekend, March 15-17, 2024.

Officials said drivers could see moderate congestion during high travel times. They’re advised to slow down and stay alert for roadside crews.
