JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police are investigating after a man’s body was found inside his apartment.

The incident happened around 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 7 at Windsor Park apartments in the 5400 block of Clinton Boulevard.

Detective Tommie Brown said 27-year-old Javoris Marquez Gibson had been shot multiple times. He died at the scene.

Brown said the suspect has not been identified.
