JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police arrested a 19-year-old in connection to the shooting death of a 34-year-old man.

The shooting happened in the 2000 block of West McDowell Road near Suncrest Drive on Wednesday, March 13.

Detective Tommie Brown said the victim, Josiah Kelly, was shot multiple times at the location. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition and died from his injuries.

According to Brown, Dillon Duckworth was arrested in connection to the shooting. He was charged with murder.
