JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Wells Fargo will close a branch in downtown Jackson this summer.

“As customer preferences and transaction patterns change, so will our branches. This does not take away the importance of our customers and the communities we serve,” said a Wells Fargo spokesperson.

The One Jackson Place Branch, located on Capitol Street, will close on June 12, 2024, at 11:00 a.m.

After the branch closes, a Wells Fargo spokesperson said customers can use the Lakeland branch, which is located about four miles away.

“We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause,” the spokesperson said.
