PERRY COUNTY, Miss. (WHLT) – Three people were killed during a crash in Perry County.

The crash happened on Highway 15 around 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 20.

Officials with the Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP) said a 2024 Peterbilt was traveling south on the highway when it collided with a 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer, driving by 38-year-old James Kitchens.

Troopers said Kitchens and his passengers, Samantha Overstreet and Krymsin Kitchens, died in the crash.

This crash remains under investigation by MHP.
