JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Take some time to unwind with friends, family or yourself this weekend. Below you’ll find a list of some fun events going on this weekend (March 22-24) around Mississippi.

Central Mississippi:

Hal’s Marching MALfunction and Second Line Stomp & Crawfish Boil – Jackson – Friday

  • Friends, Krewes, Irishmen, & Jacksonians – come gather for a night of fun and revelry to kick off parade weekend with the annual tradition of the Cathead STOMP.

Hal’s St. Paddy’s Friday Night Bash – Jackson – Friday

  • Kick off the Hal’s St. Paddy’s weekend with The Chee – Weez live at Hal & Mal’s!

Sunset Concert – Vicksburg – Friday

  • The show is free, but tickets are $25 per person for a VIP dinner and cocktail service. Concessions and a cash bar will be available.

Touch A Truck – Pearl – Friday

  • Touch A Truck Jackson is a fun family event that offers hands-on opportunities for children to explore, climb, and touch trucks, emergency response vehicles, heavy machinery, and other equipment.

Week of Wonder – Jackson – Friday

  • The LeFleur Museum District’s four museums are offering special Spring Break events, exhibits, and discounts.

Fleet Feet Coffee Run – Ridgeland – Friday

  • The group usually makes a large loop around the area. After the run, the first round of coffee is free on Fleet Feet!

Parade of Champions – Canton – Friday

  • The parade will celebrate the MHSAA Class 5A Boys Basketball State Champions, MHSAA Class 5A Girls Basketball State Runners-up, the Huey Porter CMAC Girls & Boys, and Nichols Middle MMJAC Girls & Boys Basketball champs.

Amelia Key Gallery Talk – Jackson – Friday

  • Join in at the Bitsy Irby for a gallery talk, presented by Amelia Key.

Spring Pilgrimage – Natchez – Friday, Saturday & Sunday

  • The Historic Homes of Natchez will host tours until April 28, 2024.

Attack of the Bloodsuckers – Jackson – Friday, Saturday & Sunday

  • Through 13 icky exhibits, guests learn the what, why, who, and when of how parasites live, work, and play an important part in our ecosystems.

Oman: Land, Sea and Spirit – Jackson – Friday, Saturday & Sunday

  • Join the International Museum of Muslim Cultures for an explorer’s delight as they transport you to the beautiful lands of the Sultanate of Oman.

Flags from Mississippi – Jackson – Friday, Saturday & Sunday

  • The exhibit features 20 flags made from a variety of fabrics, such as wool and silk. Some were sewn by hand. Highlights include an original Magnolia flag, adopted in 1861 as the first official flag of Mississippi, that has been saved by conservators after it became severely fragmented.

The Odd Couple – Natchez – Friday, Saturday & Sunday

  • Oddities unite! Join us for “The Odd Couple” – a classic tale of mismatched roommates that has captivated audiences for generations.

Hal’s St. Paddy’s Parade & Festival – Jackson – Saturday

  • The theme for the 2024 Hal’s St. Paddy’s Parade and Festival is “Telling the Mississippi Story.” WJTV 12 News’ Walt Grayson has been named the grand marshal.

Hal’s St. Paddy’s Day Official Afterparty – Jackson – Saturday

  • Get ready to glow and celebrate St. Paddy’s into the night with an incredible and memorable ultraviolet experience.

Martin’s Downtown’s St. Paddy’s Blowout – Jackson – Saturday

  • Enjoy live music at Martin’s Downtown.

Art in the Park – Clinton – Saturday

  • Art in the Park, an event for all ages, will feature local artists throughout the park engaging in their discipline.

Cupcakes and Paint Party – Jackson – Saturday

  • This event is centered around the observance of Youth Art in the month of March. Youth ages 10-17 years old only.

Easter Eggstravaganza – Ridgeland – Saturday

Easter in the Park – Madison – Saturday

  • There will be fun activities for all to enjoy throughout the morning at Liberty Park.

Miss-Lou Makers Market – Natchez – Saturday

  • The market includes local handmade artists from Mississippi and Louisiana gathering into an exclusive vendor showcase on the Natchez bluff.

Heirloom Plant Sale – Jackson – Saturday

  • Bring home plants divided from the Welty garden, plus specially grown old-fashioned plants from Eudora Welty’s prose and era—many of which have become hard to find.

Great Canton Clean Up – Canton – Saturday

  • Neighborhoods, businesses, church groups, sports teams, schools, civic and service organizations are encouraged to join the the Canton Garden Club in a community effort to clean up our parks, streets, and public spaces.

Mississippi Farmers Market – Jackson – Saturday

  • From persimmons to peaches, from bok choy to butter beans, the Mississippi Farmers Market is the one place to go for the freshest fruits and vegetables that are grown in the state.

Natchez Farmers Market – Natchez – Saturday

  • Every week there will be live fresh produce, baked goods, fresh dairy, and arts and crafts all from local growers and artists.

Natchez Powwow – Natchez – Saturday and Sunday

  • The 2024 Natchez Powwow is returning to its two-day weekend tradition. The cultural festival is free and open to the public.

The Easter Bunny Experience – Ridgeland – Saturday and Sunday

  • To commemorate Wonderfuss turning five this year, they’ve invited you to a very merry un-birthday experience at Martinson’s Garden Works.

Easter Egg Hunt – Natchez – Sunday

  • The Easter Bunny will be on site for photos. There will be light refreshments and a cash bar.

Points & Pints Foam Ball Tennis League – Jackson – Sunday

  • Teams are made up of between 2 and 6 players. Each Sunday all the teams will play a round robin format with multiple matches played each week.

Brunch at the Mulberry – Vicksburg – Sunday

Pine Belt:

47th Annual Crawfish Classic Tennis Tournament – Hattiesburg – Friday, Saturday & Sunday
