Four inmates escape from Yazoo County Regional Correctional Facility

YAZOO COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – Four inmates have been captured and one is still wanted after escaping from the Yazoo County Regional Correctional Facility.

Officials with the Yazoo County Sheriff’s Office said deputies were driving to the jail on Sunday, March 24 and noticed an inmate running back into the facility inside the fence.

Once the deputies entered the jail, they notified the correctional officers of what they saw. The officers conducted a headcount and discovered that five inmates were missing.

An unidentified inmate was captured on Sunday. Marlon Willis, Marcus Green and Deliuwon Stowers were captured on Monday, according to deputies. Authorities are still searching for Glen Bassett.
