Mississippi state representative charged with receiving stolen property

KEMPER COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – A Mississippi state representative has been charged with receiving stolen property.

The Meridian Star reported Rep. Keith Jackson (D-District 45) was booked into the Kemper County Jail on Monday, March 25.

According to the jail’s website, Jackson was charged with a felony. He was later released from the jail.

Jackson represents parts of Kemper, Lauderdale, Winston and Neshoba counties.
