JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – A Ridgeland man was arrested after he allegedly led state troopers on a chase that ended in Jackson.
The incident happened just after noon on Wednesday, March 27.
Officials with the Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP) said troopers attempted to stop a Chevrolet Suburban traveling north on I-55 near Woodrow Wilson Boulevard.
They said the driver led troopers on a chase that ended near Briarwood Drive.
The driver was identified as 45-year-old Joseph Rouser. He was arrested without incident and taken to the Hinds County Detention Center. Officials said charges against Rouser are pending.
This incident is under investigation by MHP.
