COPIAH COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – A driver was injured during a crash involving two 18-wheelers in Copiah County.

Officials with the Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP) said the crash happened on Interstate 55 South near the 63 mile-marker on Tuesday, April 2.

One driver was taken to a local hospital with unknown injuries.

According to MHP, both southbound lanes have been closed while emergency crews work to clear the roadway.
