Mississippi man accused of looking into stall of woman changing clothes

FLOWOOD, Miss. (WJTV) – Flowood police arrested a man who allegedly looked over dressing room walls at a woman trying clothes in Target.

The incident happened around 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3 at the Target on Promenade Boulevard.

Before officers arrived at the location, they were told the suspect left the scene. Witnesses saw the man get into a silver vehicle and took a picture of the tag number.

According to police, the victim stated she was in the dressing room trying on clothes when she heard unusual noises in the next stall. She looked up and saw a man looking over the dressing room wall, staring at her. The woman said the man ran out of the dressing room and left the store.

Flowood police said they identified the suspect as 24-year-old Jamerious Funchess, of Kosciusko. He turned himself in to Flowood police on Friday, April 5.

Funchess was charged with voyeurism, which is a felony in Mississippi. He is being held in the Rankin County Jail on a $20,000 bond.
