More than 25,000 power outages reported in Mississippi

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – More than 25,000 Mississippians are without power as severe storms moved through the central part of the state.

Entergy Mississippi has reported thousands of outages in the Jackson-metro area.

As of Wednesday morning, more than 8,000 outages were reported in both Hinds and Madison counties. More than 5,000 outages have been reported in Warren County, and more than 600 power outages have been reported in Rankin County.
