Man wanted for shooting on Jayne Avenue in Jackson

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police are searching for a man in connection to a shooting on Jayne Avenue.

The shooting happened in the 3000 block of Jayne Avenue on Thursday, April 11.

Detective Tommie Brown said the victim was transported to the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) for treatment.

Brown said warrants have been issued for Damien Walker, 39, in connection to this case. He is considered to be armed and dangerous.
