JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police arrested a 22-year-old man in connection to a recent homicide.

Detective Tommie Brown said Marcus Haynes was arrested on Saturday, April 20. He was wanted for on a murder charge.

The shooting happened on Clinton Avenue near Fryant Avenue on Friday, April 12. The victim was shot multiple times.
