JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police are investigating after a man was shot and killed on Sunday, April 21.

Detective Tommie Brown said the victim was shot on Medgar Evers Boulevard near Coleman Avenue. The victim was pronounced deceased at a local hospital.

Brown said the victim was identified as Taboris Jefferson.
