WARREN COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – One person was killed and two others were injured after a two-vehicle crash in Warren County.

Officials with the Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP) said the crash happened just before 6:30 a.m. on Monday, April 22 on Highway 27 south near Yvonne Nelson Court.

According to MHP, a 1999 International Dump Truck was traveling south on Highway 27 when it collided with a 2008 Toyota Camry, driven by 30-year-old Ondrea Flaggs, of Vicksburg.

The dump truck driver, 64-year-old Riley Summers III, of Vicksburg and the passenger of the Camry, 30-year-old Andrea Flaggs, were transported to Merit Health with unknown injuries.

The driver of the Camry, Ondrea Flaggs, died at the scene.

Officials with the City of Vicksburg said Ondrea and Andrea Flaggs are the twin nieces of Vicksburg Mayor George Flaggs, Jr.

This crash remains under investigation by MHP.
